During my time at 3DStoa Patrimonio y Tecnología, I worked on the 3D reconstruction of this 14th-century monastery. My job was to create some assets for the scene, covering the whole process from photogrammetry to the final texturing.
Since the site is quite damaged in some areas, I used ZBrush to clean up and reconstruct the models, bringing them back to their original look. To make the workflow more efficient, I created a set of tileable granite textures and a Smart Material in Substance Painter. This allowed the whole team to texture pieces much faster by just adjusting a few parameters.
I kept everything as modular as possible to save resources and ensure the scene ran smoothly. It was a great experience, and I’m really thankful to my teammates for their amazing work on this project.
